Privacy Policy

Intiima is a private app for two paired partners. It combines a menstrual cycle calendar with intimacy features — shared fantasies, playful pings, logged moments, and badges — inside one space that only you and your partner can see.

Because Intiima handles health information and intimate content, we hold ourselves to a simple standard: we collect only what the app needs to work, we use it only to run the app for you, and we never sell it or hand it to advertisers. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

We collect only the information required to create your account, pair you with your partner, and provide the app's features:

• Account details — your name, email address, and a password. Passwords are never stored in plain text; we store only a secure one-way hash (bcrypt). Used to sign you in and keep your account secure.
• Cycle data — period start dates and your typical cycle length. Used to display the calendar and estimate cycle phases for you and your partner.
• Intimacy data — the moments (encounters) you log, fantasies you write, and highlights you save. Used to power the shared features between you and your partner.
• Relationship details — your partner's nickname, and optionally a birthday and anniversary. Used to personalize the app and reminders.
• Partner email (optional) — used only to send your partner an invitation to pair with you.
• Timezone — used to show dates and send reminders at the right local time.
• Device push token — if you enable notifications on iOS, we store an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) token so we can deliver pings and reminders to your device.

We do not ask for, and do not want, any information beyond this. There is no hidden data collection.

We know that cycle information and intimate content are among the most personal things a person can share. We treat them that way.

This data is stored only to provide the app's features to you and your paired partner. It is never used to build advertising profiles, never shared with data brokers, and never used for any purpose other than running Intiima for the two of you. Cycle predictions are estimates to help you plan — they are informational only and are not medical advice (see our Terms of Use).

Intiima contains no third-party advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. We do not embed trackers, we do not build advertising profiles, and we never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

We don't make money by monetizing your data. Your information exists to make the app work for you — nothing else.

Your data is stored in a database (Cloudflare D1, built on SQLite) running on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which also serves the app. Cloudflare acts as our hosting and infrastructure provider and processes data on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments.

We retain your data only while your account is active, or as needed to provide the app to you (see Data retention below).

Your intimate and cycle data is shared with exactly one person: your paired partner. That is the entire point of Intiima — it is a shared space for two people. Fantasies, moments, and cycle information are visible only within your pairing.

We do not share your personal data with any third parties for their own purposes. The only external service involved is our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) that hosts the app, and Apple's push notification service if you enable notifications. We may disclose information if strictly required by law (for example, a valid legal order), but we have no interest in your data beyond running the app.

• All connections use HTTPS, so your data is encrypted in transit between your device and our servers.
• Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes — we can never see or recover your actual password.
• Access to your intimate and cycle data is limited to your account and your paired partner's account.
• No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit what we collect in the first place.

We keep your data only as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app: Settings → Delete Account.

Deleting your account permanently purges your personal data — your account details, cycle data, fantasies, moments, and other content — from our active systems. This action is irreversible. If you ever want your data gone, you're always one screen away from removing it entirely.

Intiima is intended for adults and is rated 17+. It is not designed for and must not be used by anyone under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it.

You are always in control of your data:

• Access — you can view your data directly in the app.
• Correct — you can edit your details, cycle data, and content in the app.
• Delete — you can permanently delete your account and data at any time from Settings → Delete Account.
• Unpair — you can disconnect from your partner, and either of you can block or unpair at any time.

If you'd like help exercising any of these rights, or have a request we can't complete in the app, contact us at the email below.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Intiima after an update means you accept the revised policy.
